TANA
Tana Current - Offline Mode
Join Matt and Brage to know what Tana are CURRENTLY working on - recent releases, upcoming features, tips, tricks and happenings from the community. Matt and Brage are your oarsmen down these development rapids.
Showcased in the latest Tana current was offline mode (and much more)
Tana Free will now include 500 AI credits every month.
Tana are working on new AI features, and want everyone to be able to test them. These changes will roll out on Monday.
New users will now be able to sign up directly to Tana Free, no credit card required.
Every Tana user can now try out transcription, AI chat, and mobile voice memos on a regular basis.
When your free credits are used up, you can upgrade to continue using AI.
New users can start a trial on Plus or Pro if they haven’t done one already, when they are ready to do so (much requested here in the community!).
The new Free plan comes with a few new limitations, full list in thread.
Tana hopes the new Free plan will make it easier for more people to get started and understand the power of Tana.
Weekly Drop-in Sessions with Ev
New weekly drop-in session just for beginners (and anyone who wants a refresh). Come along and join the live sessions hosted by Ev Chapman, one of Tana’s most loved ambassadors and creators.
Each week for the next 10 weeks, Ev will run a 60-minute session for anyone who wants to talk Tana. It’s an open, friendly space to explore the basics, see Tana in action, ask questions, and get feedback on your own ideas or setup. No set agendas or presentations, just a relaxed chance to catch up, share, and learn together with Ev at the wheel.

Capacities
Why is Capacities priced the way it is
Pricing software is hard. We don’t claim to have found the perfect solution, but with this article, we aim to clarify some misconceptions and share insights into the reasoning behind our pricing strategy.
First, we want to clarify that AI costs do not drive the subscription fee for Capacities Pro. In fact, AI infrastructure represents less than 0.5% of our total expenses. Looking ahead, we intend to introduce a cost‑per‑use model or a “bring your own key” option for AI, so as we introduce more AI, its cost won’t need to be subsidised by users who don’t want to use it.
But foremost, we want to stress that Capacities Pro is not about getting a lot of “bang for the buck” in terms of features you unlock. Capacities is intentional software.

Logseq
Logseq MCP Server coming soon?
This PR provides an opt-in MCP server for connecting a Logseq graph to other AI applications. An MCP server can run within the desktop app’s HTTP server against the current graph. To QA:
Enable MCP Server in Settings > AI
Create an authorization token to your HTTP Server for MCP requests and start the HTTP server.
By the looks of things, there are only a couple of tasks left to do:
Add tool(s) that can support batch updates
Include keyword namespaces in response?
Joplin
Some updates that focus on the mobile app:
Rich Text Editor - The mobile app now includes a beta Rich Text Editor! The new editor renders formatting/math/images within the editor.
Support for publishing notes with Joplin Cloud and Server
Viewing note history
Updated tag dialog
Android: Improved voice typing
Quickly creating a note from multiple photos
On the Desktop, the team have also implemented More Markdown Editor settings and Smaller application size and faster startup
Mem
Mem 2.0 has recently been released, which includes:

Anytype
A few releases have happened in Anytype over the past week or so:
Chats - It gives you the familiar rhythm of chatting – replying, reacting, sharing files – but with a powerful twist: you can create and edit objects together in real time
Vault Update - Your Vault now brings together Spaces and Chats with live previews and updates in one view. You can pin important chats or spaces so they’re always within reach
Widget Bar Restructure - Reworked the Sidebar to create a clearer navigation model. The goal was to clarify the difference between shortcuts and containers.
Quality of Life Improvements
There are some other cool things planned too, like reminders, formulas, transclusions
Mobile iOS 0.40 and Android 0.40.
Heptabase
In the latest version, you can enable “can chat” permissions for your public whiteboard — this means anyone will be able to chat with you through the whiteboard you published (for free).

Griply
New in Griply: Natural Language Input & Smart Recognition. Creating tasks in Griply just got way faster! We just launched Task Smart Recognition
From now on, you can type your tasks in plain language, and Griply will recognise dates, times, priorities, goals, tags, reminders, repeat schedules, and more. This will significantly speed up your workflow.
